Yes, you have to host the photos externally on another website for us to view them. But don't be afraid of posting them here - the only way to improve is to receive constructive criticism, which is what this place is all about!

Stephen,

Upload the ones you want to display to your pixspot account. Link them from within a message using Stubbsy's instructions. it's that simple.

As to your images being substandard, please just post the ones you want critiqued. We'll be fair and suggest ways to improve them. Listen, and learn, and no time you'll be an expert.

G'day Stephen,
Just upload those that you'd like to share, this place is a very friendly bunch and you can probably learn more from the mistakes than the good ones... I'm still not sure sometimes which is which with mine
Cheers.

Cool thanks guys ,one other question once i have played around with the image in cs2 and i hit the save button a jpeg screen comes up and all i do is save it as 5 which is a medium?,and then it is a jpeg .However if i try to upload it at this size to pixspot it will not work as it is too big .So what i have to do then is open the picture in Microsoft office pic manager and compress it for the web which make the pics really small on my comp and on the web.Is there anothre way i could do this whole process more efficiently that would keep the pics at a reasonable size on my comp and the web?.as i end up with a 30 kb picture after all my hard work?.
Sorry for being such a computer loser
Cheers Stephen

G'day,
Just a quick thought before ni nis... When doing any PP on your files, always work on a copy or something in case you stuff up, I know I have

When you go to save a final image for the web, go to "image/image size" and resize the image (check the box for "re-sample image") before saving and you 'll have a much smaller file that's a lot easier to transfer, always do a save as... something too, keep your originals unmodified...

Most images posted here would probably be say 50-150k'ish?

Hope that helps :)

Cheers.

Stephen. You need to resize your image in PS before saving so the file size is better. Don't have PS at work, so may have the following slightly wrong - Choose Image/Image Size then change the longest side to 800 pixels and click OK. Now you can save your file and it will be MUCH smaller.
