further to my long awaited ebay payment for my Nikon AP-2 accessory, I received a paypal payment on the 9th and the status still appears as "Pending"

have i missed something? (do i have to click something to receive it??) Shouldnt it have cleared by now? No funds in my nominated account yet.

Probably waiting for your purchaser's funds to clear at Paypal's bank.

JD, Gary is right it, usually says so in the email. About 4 days. Here is an example my wife got: Is yours similar?

This email confirms that you have received a Pending eCheque Instant Purchase Payment for $16.00 AUD from XXX (XXX@aol.com).

This eCheque payment will remain 'Uncleared' until the funds have cleared from the sender's account, which usually takes four working days. If you are shipping an item, please do not ship your item until the funds have cleared into your PayPal account. You will be notified by email when the funds have cleared into your PayPal balance.
