Can i clain Runner Up in the weeks DoTW please?

Following my request fror advice on batch processing i went home, followed sirch55s instruction to the letter then left the machine to run cos, being completely new to this i expected it could take a while. 2hrs later the job did not appear to be complete    .
30 confused minutes later and i worked out i had to transfer the files to be processed in to the 'inbox' of the software (irfanview) and the hit 'start' having selected the parameters sirch55 suggested. at which point the conversion of 106 files took just 2 minutes

tonight i have to try and upload them en-masse to a gallery for my mates to access, wish me luck

it wont be a surprise to you to learn that Marsden, my home village, was a Luddite stronghold........

found myself harking back to the good old days of Velvia and pre-paid processing envelpoes - halcyon days!

We did at one point.

We had an idea (jokingly) for a Village Idiot of the Week... and I got a lot of flack for it.

As Leigh said, we truly wanted to, but the idea was shot down in flames.

We need to be sensitive to the fact that there's a difference between me calling you a village idiot, and you doing it.
