Hi there,
I've been trawling this forum for some time now, so I thought I should sign up and say Hi.
Hi. :D
I have yet to purchase a dslr (still using a regular digital camera), but this site is really helpful so I'll keep browsing while I'm dreaming of a new camera.
Cheers
K

kinetic - welcome to the forum :) .

It would help if you placed your location in 'Profile'.

Should you live in Australian, suggest you attend a local Meet and talk to people face or face or if lucky enough to live in or near Sydney go along to Mini Meets that run most Saturday mornings from 8am to noon.

Thanks for the welcome - I'm from Brisbane (profile updated)

Currently I have an Olympus C-765.

I will post something for critiquing when I'm feeling brave enough! :D

Geez I was certainly late finding this post....
If I haven't indirectly said so in another post somewhere, welcome to the forum Kinetic and I certainly echo Birddog's comments about coming along to a minimeet sometime. Even without a DSLR, you'll still learn a lot about photography, lighting, photoshop and related areas that will whet your appetite until your budget allows you to upgrade your camera gear. And, naturally, when that time comes, there'll be no shortage of people to give (mostly!) educated advice as the best gear to spend your hard-earned on.

Thanks Manta :D
Don't worry about missing this thread - I forgot I'd even put it here in the first place.
I certainly look forward to picking everyone's brain for information.

By the way, I'm glad you changed your avatar .... that green eyed thing was freaking me out.
