How Old are you?

I know it's a bit rude to ask someone's age, so thought I'd do it in a poll.
I'm wondering what the average age of the forum users here is.....
Photography is generally and 'old persons' hobby, moreso then the young persons. With the DSLR, I've noticed A LOT of younger people picking up the hobby.
I myself am 22.
Thanks,
Wade

At 56 you'd think I'd be old enough to know better than to be posting this at twenty to two in the morning.

Like the quote Sheetshooter (you don't own a 4 x 5 do you! ). You are right ... bed time!

We had a similar poll last November if you are interested.....

Although I had more detail at the upper end
52 here. Next year I'll be 53 and born in '53.

Your perspective is interesting. The oldest category is 45 and over. From way back at 22 that must seem a fair spread, but I can tell you at (almost) 50 I reckon I'd like to have seen > 45 split up into a few more groupings. I'm not old like those 60 year olds are

I am 27
I missed the best years of my life in front of a computer
arguing about who was the better starship captain Picard or Kirk.
Photography has got me out of that comfort zone. I intend to live life to the fullest from now on.

stubbsy: without meeting anyone from this forum, and without asking 'how old you are' I was unable to work out everyone's ages and the groups.
Next time I'll know to do year by year after 45
Greg B: I actually searched the forum for "age" and scanned all threads. A bump was my prefered option over a new thread.
Doing well here aren't I?

I dont know if Id classify it quite like that. A lot of young people seem to get interested in photography in their teens and early 20's, drop it as life gets too busy, and then pick it up again as they get older. As a side-note, Motorbikes seem to have a fairly similar demographic.
But yes, I do agree that dSLR's (and cellphones
) seem to have gotten a lot more young people into photography recently than film seems to have done over the last 10odd years. I believe that it was starting to turn into a 'old person's' hobby and that dSLR's have definitely revived things and gotten young people interested in photography again.

33, nearly 34........still feel 18, although don't look it anymore!
Picard wins hands down for me, followed by Janeway a not too distant second. Kirk-crap, Sisko-crap and Archer-crap!
Deanna Troi-pathetic, Kes-pathetic and Riker-pathetic!!
Data, 7 of 9, Worf and the holographic Doctor in Voyager were the best! (But nothing compared to Picard!). The Next Generation and Voyager were the best series.......Deep Space 9 was crap! (sorry everyone, just had to get that off my chest!)

The doctor was the best character ever. Totally sarcastic and smug, so excellent.
Data was the man, 7 of 9 was just downright sexy.
DS9 - crap, agreed.

My driver's licence and the face in the mirror say I'm 41, though to my wife and kids, I'm somewhere around 12. My daughter probably summed me up pretty well a few weeks ago after the fifth time that day I'd jumped out from behind something to give her a fright: Shaking her head and scowling, my darling 14 yr old declared, "Honestly Dad, it's like living with a monkey".
I don't plan on growing up real soon so pass me that banana...

My girlfriend tells me I look 25.
Have to do what the wife tells me or I don't get to buy my shiny new 12-24mm DX lens....so 31 it is.
