Adapter

Just a quick question. Is it possible to get an adaptor so that Sigma or Canon lenses can be used on a Nikon body?

Canon? No.

Sigma... possibly... but I've yet to see one.

But he's quite correct.

Nikon bodies are deeper than Canons, which makes it a physical impossibilty to mount a Canon lens onto a Nikon body - you can never achieve correct focus.

But that same factor does mean that you can get an adaptor that permits you to mount a Nikkor lens on a Canon body, but my question is why would you bother? Canon lenses are excellent, and mae for the Canon body.
