Nice and colourful. Nice cropping too. I think perhaps it is a little soft though, you may want to try sharpening it after you resize it for the web.

Cheers,
Owen.

Good work Troppo... great colours and feels like you've really the captured the place... however your horizon's not quote horizontal thou.. easy fix in photoshop (use your crop tool to rotate it a bit)

Be careful about the horizon, though.
I'm not saying Atorie is wrong in this case, but not every piece of land in Australia (or Mauritius) is flat. Sometimes horizon lines aren't straight.

If you look at the boats on the right and the trees and land on the right, they look as they should, don't they?

The shore line in the background of the photo doesn't have to be a straight line IMHO. :D

Troopo,

Go to the post you want to quote 'look for quote button on the top right hand corner', click left hand button on your mouse, and hey presto.

Hello Jacque! When I go there I stay with the Felix family - I here they are quite well known there so I thought that perhaps you might know of them?

Here is a couple of shots from previous times. If you want to see more, it is no trouble :D

Heath, your photo's are great and i am keen to get more photo's of Mauritius for my walls as i miss the place so much.

The Felix family is a large one, i left Mauritius in 64 at the age of 12 so i do not know many families there, but my sister still lives there and she knows everyone, as you would expect on a small island. I'm hoping to do a unit development there which means going back for a while (someone has to do it) :D
