To anyone new to this forum, membership is the best thing i have done, in the last months since joining, i have learnt a huge amount of information, i've learnt to clean my ccd, operate my D70 and an untold amount of trick with photoshop, i have met some fantastic people with so much to offer and share but what i like most is the club atmosphere that prevail here and allows member the vehicle to learn fast and in a positive environment.

To any new member all i can say is "get into it, it's fantastic"

Yes....yes it is.

And for me, it's a home away from home. It's ncie to be able to pop in here from time to time, when connectivity permits, to see what everyone is up to.

Photography forums are a dime a dozen these days BUT it's bloody fantastic to be in a community of Aussie photographers such as this one here! (hey look at me I don't even have a digital camera lol). I'm absorbing all the digital material so as to ensure a smoother transition for me when the D200 arrives.

Too bad you're in Brissy mate - the mini meet at Birddog's in Sydney is simply one of a kind. In my opinion, one never truly understands the meaning of lens lust til one's been to Birddog's.

Steve,

I can't tell you how satisfying it is to hear those words.

Given what you're doing and its importance, I'm pleased that we're able to provide some form of R&R for you.
