Some talk on other forums about this new eyepiece which magnifies the VF image by 1.2x. Only available for D1, D2, F4, F5 & F6 cameras though. Apparently gives almost as good a size image as the 1DS VF.
In short supply apparently.

Damn... Yet another reason to upgrade to the D2X.

jools,
They're on my way, I have one
btw!
I've found them last month and ordered 10 of those.
They will be very nice with the DK-2 rubbereyecup, extensive large viewfinder on the D2 serises or F5/F6.
The damage is around $80 bucks each, without the DK-2 rubbereyecup.
What else do you want?

I am guessing Julian would like the D2X to drop to $3k so he can get one to put the eyepiece on.

Birddog
I may be interested in the Dk-13 angled viewfinder
and the dk-17 magnifying eyepiece, is it compatible with the D2X?
I do some tight macro work with my 50mm lens but it's hard to see details through the viewfinder for near perfect manual focussing, currently i am using a prism I bought on ebay as a right angled viewfinder and magnifying device, but as you may imagine a prism crystal the size of my head used with a huge camera these days looks suspiciously whacky.

Yes, Birddog. I wouldn't mind paying $1K for the eyepiece if the D2X body were to drop to $3K

And I would happily pay $3K US if I were being paid in US dollars.
Alas, I am not...
