Hi all,

I just though I would put in a post regarding the senior members on the forum. I actually just wanted to take the time to say thanks for all the assistance and mentoring that they do via this site.

In my situation I am not able to take photography courses or go out with someone for some one on one tutoring, so it can make learning about the D70, and photography in general, a bit of a strain on the brain at times. However, thanks to the experience and online advice from the guys on here, from my point of view, has made learning a heap clearer with some things I had no idea about.

I know we are all here as a mutual interest for the camera and the taking of photographs, but I do feel as though some of you do really go out of your way to post answers and examples to help out those lof us who have less knowledge.

So thanks from me !

The title of senior member is allocated to those who pass a certain number of posts. I would extend the thanks to all members for helping out one another - no matter what your title/status or loop status. I would like to think everyone's contributions are valued here, even those who go against the grain...

I can think of a number of people who haven't yet reached senior status that have pitched in more than their share of knowledge and help, and I certainly appreciate them sharing their knowledge and skills.

So now for no apparent reason I'll post this link to a wireless flash guide that I stumbled upon this evening. Some folks seems to be having trouble deciphering the SB600/SB800 manuals, so here's a nicely written guide to wireless flash use with the D70/s.

Chi,

Thanx for that link. We had some fun and games yesterday with the SB800s, and maybe this guide could have proven useful for us. Certainly, it's a very compex device, and the supplied manuals are of little practical benefit.

Thanks for the remote guide link Onyx, very helpful, just received my brand new SB600 (from a kind friend in USA), I have no idea how to use the thing, am reading madly at present trying to get up to snuff on the thing.
