This is my last day here for a little while as Mitedo and I are heading out west of Birdsville tommorow, for a little outback photography.
It is a tough life but someone has to live it

Have fun and don't forget to get into the macro with all the little things you find on the side of the road - plants, insects and lizards etc.
I took a photo of a shrimp swimming in a pool of water on top of Ayers Rock once. There were beetles and spiders up there too, and wild flowers. I'm not lying here! I had to go to the ranger to ask him about the shrimps - apparently the eggs blow around and find their way into pools, it rains and the pools fill up and they live long enough to hatch, grow, breed and lay eggs again, and the cycle continues. Spun me out!
