Hi there,

I'm just wondering if anyone on these boards has used any Video Tutorials for Photoshop CS2?

I'm looking for something dedicated specifically to the tools and techniques used by digital photographers.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks
Paul

VTC have quite good, I've recommended them before and had glowing reports back about them. There are tutorial based videos and can either be purchased as on a CD or you register online and pay a fee to view as many as their video titles as you like. The website also lets you trial each of their titles by giving free access to the first few lessions so you can see what they're like. Website is http://www.vtc.com/

Hi

I guess I am one of those "lurkers" who has finally found something to which I can add some value, perhaps(?).

I have been playing for a little while with PS. and was put onto a Australian website that has Macromedia Flash tutorials on it. I have found them pretty useful for lots of smart quick ways of doing tasks.

The site is http://www.prophotosecrets.com. It does cost to join, but there is a way of trying it for 7 free tutorials, provided daily, so I suggest try before you buy. You can also buy some of the tutorials (46) on DVD.

The site suggests that if you want help, you can ask and a tutorial will be done showing the technique.

Currently there are about 50 tutorials on topics such as basics, Editing Techniques. I have found it useful, lots of handy hints just float through the tutorial, often as asides

Russell Brown has a good set of Photoshop tips and tutorials in the form of Quicktime videos... They are free and also quite funny in places...
