i dont claim to know anything about Gmail, i did a search on google, and this came up:

http://gmail-is-too-creepy.com/

rather interesting, wonder how much is urban myth?

a whois of the above URl showed that the domain name was registered by:

Registrant:
Public Information Research
PO Box 680635
San Antonio, Texas 78268-0635
United States

I almost expected it to show up something like yahoo.com or hotmail / msn :P

v funny

For a system that's in beta and doesn't allow you to request access it seems an awful lot of people have access and extra sign ups to give away. Guess the gMail virus is spreading.

Cheers

I have 10 invites to give away

Gmail isnt bad. Its quite fast. Also gives you POP access. No IMAP.
But you still get spam like hotmail.

you can also use Gmail as a storage device meaning you can mount it like a 1 GB hard disk on your system
