Jaycar remote... instructions

Postby MHD on Tue Nov 02, 2004 12:03 pm

Hi all... I've lost the instructions to the hard to find and expensive remote! (the jaycar one)

Can some one tell me the code and keymaping for the remote?

---snip---

It is a little gizmo, 6 cm x 3 cm, with a four way thing on the front like the multi selector on the D70.

The instructions are in very very small print, so to save you the pain..

There are two buttons on the back - press the one marked TV

Hold down the setup button on the left hand side unril the little light blinks twice.

Enter the sanyo code 11134, by pressing...
Vol+ Vol+ Vol+ Ch+ Ch-
(it will be obvious when you see it)

The light will flash twice again

And then, pressing Vol+ will fire the shutter on the D70

Simply brilliant little gizmo
$19.50 inc GST, works exactly as described
A deadly cute little item, Nikon misses out big time if this little fellow catches on.

MHD,

no worries. BTW I will be in Sydney this weekend and Birddog asked me to take back to CBR a print of your winning picture for you to sign it.
Give me your details so that we can meet or I can drop it off.
