Although I don't have this lens, I generally find taking photo's produces the best results with most lens ;)
Really - the best idea is to try as many different settings in different environments as you can. It's digital, so you can see and compare your results quite easily (check the EXIF data while reviewing). It will then come down to your personal preferences and photographic style :)

Not sure what you mean by this? Do you mean at what distance and f stop is this lens sweet stop? Who is the best photographer on the forum using this lens?
