A question for Birddog.I was on the beach this mornong and this flew past. What is it?

It's a de Havilland D.H.84 Dragon II.
What I don't understand is why it has changed colour since this photo was taken in April 2005... Cheers, John

Nice one Leek - the same reg no. I am not sure of the colour although all I have done to the RAW image is a crop. Against such a strong light it could be almost any colour bar red!!!!

I think its just the color cast....look at the nose of the plane...the red is quite easy to see
