If I had to get another fuji I will get the S2, unless the price was similar

S3 is too slow and the AWB is much better on the S2

Only good thing about the S3 is the battery system.

How much are you selling the S3?

The S3 will come with the new upgrade, have you read it?

Yes I have read it already, it might capture quicker but the preview might be slow? We have to wait and see.....

I think Fuji needs to take that sensor technology they have and build a camera around it, but from the ground up. In another forum I saw a post asking people to compare the Fuji S3 with the Nikon D1x. On its face that says quite a lot for the old D1x (I sure like mine) and not much for the Fuji S3 which should be a significant advance in its line and may not be.

I find the whole two lots of photosites quite interesting. I like one aimed at exposing the scene for shadows/midtones and the other for capturing the highlights.

Which it apparently does quite well ... would make a great dedicated landscape camera don'tcha think?
