Hi,

Not too sure if this have been posted
I discovered theres a vertical line in the viewfinder, from the bottom center towards the centre AF point, covering half of the view finder vertically.

This is perfectly normal. It's a tiny wire connection. The same is in the viewfinder of any D70.

Normally when you see that line a BGLOD is on its way... if you want to believe some of the stuff floating around on that other forum.

:) Obviously you have managed to stay away from that other forum. Blinking Green Light of Death - not an issue with D70s and later d70 bodies. That was my lame attempt at a bit of wit - someone actually posted the viewfinder lines becoming visible as a precursor to total camera failure on DPR. Wish I could find the link.

Edit: Of course, the two are totally unrelated.

Hi, it's in the manual, page 8. They didn't kill trees for no reason, read it and you'll be enlightened on other issues too (eg. why does the viewfinder suddenly go dim when you take the battery out?)
