Just visited http://www.gitzo.com/ never been there before, the first thing I see is, Basalt Fibre tripods ?

I had to check my calendar but it isn't April 1st... Basalt Fibre just sound strange to me, anyone seen or got one of these ?

Yes, it's the new product from Gitzo, it's not so popular than the original version, and the feed back is not so good from pp. They rather stick with the original or source some other products.
