depend what your need it for.
it in pretty wore shape with fugus, plus if you wanted matrix metering on your d70 you need a p chip convertion or use a hand held meter. if your got an f5 or pro series body it would meter in spot.
dunno after all the cleaning up and stuff, probaby better to find an old 300 f4 af model would be in the price range 500+

I have used this lens on the D70...no auto focus or exposure...but by checking the histogram you can soon get the exposure spot on. It's very smooth and very sharp and if you can get it for the right price then go for it.

I heard somewhere that the fungus can create etching on the lens which would totally ruin it. Is this true/possible?
