I hope someone is able to help me. My D70 accasionally flashes up with "OFF" in the control panel and the camera will not operate. I turn it off and then back on again and sometimes it works, sometimes not. I can not find any reference in the manual to this error message. What could it be?

Not sure Steve. I have had some problems when putting in CF cards but not this particular one. Good luck!
