Video Light + Dimmer ?

Postby shutterbug on Fri Sep 30, 2005 12:15 pm

Hi everyone,

I want to purchase a video light (+external battery pack + dimmer).

Anyone know any source?

Recently I was talking to a videographer during a wedding, he uses one, that omits "White Light" and has a dimmer too. He said it costs about $350 all up.

HI Shutterbug, the best IMHO is the dedo brand. This is what the camera guys use at the ABC. Small powerful and good on batterys LEMAC http://www.lemac.com.au/tech/TUTS/dedo.html are a supplier but I am sure that if you do a bit of a shop around you can find a cheaper version. I found the Dick Smith are the cheapest for the dry cell 12V batteries for these lights also.

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
