Dont know whether it works yet.

I just downloaded it but it says my version is from the wrong region.

It worked on my laptop.

I've been using the Nikon Asia website for my nikon capture downloads.

I also tried to download from Nikon Asia and was told wrong region any ideas?

Worked for me. Try using Firefox rather than IE.

your original Nikon capture download was from the Nikon USA site not the Nikon Asia site (Nikon have regionalised thier downloads) try the Nikon USA website

I think it's just supposed to fix a problem some people were having with the program crashing when using D-lighting or some such thing..
