Cloudy Bay has a strong connection to the photographic arts and as a natural extension of this association, is delighted to launch an international photography competition inviting wine lovers to ‘capture the essence’ of Cloudy Bay, through the camera lens.

‘Capturing the Essence Through Contemporary Photography’, opening in October 2008, invites participants to explore their creative side. Entrants will be asked to submit up to three photographs that finish the statement:

“The essence of Cloudy Bay is...”

The winning submission from both Australia and New Zealand will each win a trip to Cloudy Bay to carry out a 7 day shoot in our winery during the 2009 vintage.
