A few more, Norway and Sweden

Postby Geoff on Fri Jul 30, 2010 9:48 am

Here's a few of my other faves from Norway. Hiddeously expensive country but if you get the chance to travel there, do it! Insanely beautiful!!

This is about 1.6km above sea level. The hike took 6.5hrs and was a total of 18km's. Some parts we had to climb using arms/hands and legs to get up rock faces! The view was well worth it though.

Have been doing a fair bit of exercise on the trip, including canoeing, mountain biking and treking too!

Sweden - camp site on the 110km canoe trip I did:

This was taken at approx 12:25am. It gets dark VERY late there, and only stays dark for about 3.5hrs!

Absolutely stunning scenery. Wow, what an amazing holiday you took. A 110klm canoe trip, I am so envious :)

I am not, sheesh, your arms would be sore after that

I love that last one!, wish there was a bit more sky, but I still keep coming back to it!

So when you get back we expect you to be very very trim, taut and terrific eh?!

Ha!
Thanks guys - it's been an INCREDIBLE trip! Amazing! Words don't cut it
And yes, I've now lost a total of 12kgs (since Febuary of this year) and a few of those would've been since I have been O/S.
Yep Gerry - my arms were very sore at the end of each day when canoeing..but each day we just had to man up and get into it!! It was fantastic!!

I have a HEAP more photos to process and share, but it'll have to wait til I return on August 17.

I've arrived in Zurich now, next stop Paris, Dublin, London then Thailand for 5 nights on my way home.
Woot.
