First images on D300Got the D300 2 weeks ago , haven't really had the time to use it yet
a couple of images taken over the last 2 weeks...

I like the concept, but I'm wondering what focus mode you have the camera in? It's difficult to quite see in the second, but the first seems to be focused just in front of the chess piece, hence my question. g.

Prettty sure it was on a single point right on the tip of the chess piece. hmmmm I think I'll run a few tests on where its focusing!

You can load the original image onto a CF card, view in camera and turn on the focus point display during playback. As its name suggests, it will display the focus point used as an overlay on the photo. -j
