Just a few to show how well this baby performs in low light/high ISO's...
My bike: (ISO 3200 F3.5)
Combination lock: (ISO 3200 F4.0)
Bike ignitiion: (ISO 2000 F3.5)
Rear of the bike: (ISO 2000 F1.4)
And last but not least my beautiful fiance, a somewhat reluctant test
model (ISO 5000!!)

Yeah I'm pretty happy right now Yi-p. I work hard, and I play harder
The D700 will be somewhat of a workhorse for me though...SMP is picking up quite nicely at the moment.

Geoff, excellent stuff and congratulations on the new purchase.
The images, once again, show the capability of the new series of cameras in the right hands!

Geoff.
Your a kid in a candy store right?
Pictures are sharp as.
I can't wait to get my hands on that baby (VTR250) tonight. I promise not to "trash your bike" like I trashed mine...
BTW, where is the duck shot?
Cheers

Awesome shots, the D700 really does treat high ISOs as if they were not. Blown away yet again by the ability of this camera.

I bought my wife eternity rings and in the moment she gave me permission to buy the D700
.. But I waited to long to tell her that I will have to replace all my DX lenses with FX stuff....So I'm back to square 1
These images dont help.. Thansk for sharing. The 700 looks the business.

This is what I really hate about this forum.
It generates way too much gear lust
