My First Nikon D90 Image (and First Post)Hello All,
My name is Bob Barrett in Austin, Texas and I recently acquired a Nikon D90. My other camera was a Canon Powershot A640 - so this is my first DSLR experience. I have alot to learn about all of the settings (ISO etc.) especially when I try night photography. I believe I joined the right group in order learn as much as I can about this wonderful art. Now I can roll on down the highway shooting 4.5 FPS till the 16GB card is full . Thank you very much for allowing me to post here I love the way I caught this Bee (I'm really going to love this camera). And a bird in the back yard: Thank you all _____________

Re: My First Nikon D90 Image (and First Post)Bob, are you happy with the lens?
And, shouldn't you be asleep? It must be after 12:30am!
Re: My First Nikon D90 Image (and First Post)Hello Andrew -
Yes - I'm pretty happy with the lenses - (After all I cannot afford the faster one's yet - I believe the F/2 lenses are in the thousands of dollars) - as for sleep - I work nights in the IT field - then get my sleep cycle messed up taking photos during the day on my days off Cheers! _____________

Ha! I think I know what you mean. I work for the global part of a global IT company. This means that I end up attending calls at "global" (=US) times. At least at this time of the year with us on DST and you guys not, most of my calls are 5am or later.
