first pics with D90

With everyone getting new bodies, I think that separate section for you to proudly display your first image from your new acquisition is in order.

This applies to brand new bodies, as well as bodies that are simply newly acquired by you.

Hey guys.
First DSLR, one of my first pics. So much to learn. Read, practice practice practice.
Very impressed with it though.( more the camera than the pic )
Just got to learn to drive it.

Hi Darryl,
Congratulations on your new purchase. You will have a great time and learn lots. Which lens/lenses did you get? Welcome to the forum too. Where are you based? There are lots of people scattered about who can be a great resource when you are trying to learn, want to try a new lens, want to borrow something.
Cheers,
Lee

Thanks Lee.
I got it with the AF-S 18-105 lens...... that was what they had, with a 16gig card.
Awesome camera. My ex-wife has a Canon 20D, and poo pooed my purchase ( as I would expect actually  )
I'm in Hervey Bay. Qld. Thought I put that on my profile when I signed up. I'll check :D
It's like 3 + hours north of Brisbane.
Not that I want to be a pro or anything, but help is always GOOD !!!!!
Just so many settings and so much can be done on camera now. Incredible. I'll take some more, and if I get any worthwhile post them.

Cheers,
Darryl.

Welcome Darryl, it‘s always great to see a new member post up some pics but I would not expect any less from a Ducati rider

The only way forward with any camera is to shoot, shoot and shoot even more. Like riding a Ducati, push it to the limit and you will experience mega thrills.
