Nikon 85mm 1.4 finallyHi all,
I have finally ditched my last zoom and converted to all prime glass, and must say I'm very excited about the 85mm 1.4! Not the new AF-S ... but the original. Now I know why people call it the cream machine... it's wonderful! All shots wide open with only levels adjustment and small amount of smart sharpen after resize. Not after any critique as they are quick snaps and far from technically correct... just sharing the quality for anyone considering the lens... Notice how fine the DOF is with the granite showing along the focal plane. Still amazes me how quickly they grow up cheers Mark http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.

Re: Nikon 85mm 1.4 finallyIt is magic on a full frame DSLR. That's where it deserves to be. Congratulations, now you have no excuse for poor photography.
