At a fixed f8 I would think you may struggle in poor light to get anything decent and I would guess the optics are not going to be super sharp?
I have always been one to play with different things, it is compact, reasonably sharp and best of all...because I was buying a few things from B&H it was cheap ($49 compared to the $99 gouge in this market) it was so light that it didn't even add anything to the postage.
I spent the day with this lens on my EP3 today, and truth said I didn't feel restricted by light, this afternoon whilst strolling through the CBD I was still able to get 1/30-1/125 in the shade. It isn't a night time lens, nor an indoor lens, but it is a nice FOV and the (almost) perma focus makes it super snappy. My EP3 is definitely a pocket camera with this lens on, and I did feel a strange liberation using this lens.
