I have heard this rumor for two months now, Maxwell is not happy with their situation when grey import floods the market and I heard Maxwell sales figures was down in the last 6 months.

I also heard Nikon will have their office as Canon or other brands in Australia and will be based in Sydney.
Time will tell

Interesting! What is clear without speculation is that the current situation is untenable for some products. When grey importing is so much cheaper than buying Maxwell stock then people will be bothered to do it...

I'd be first in the picket line out the front of Maxwell offices with the sign "Shut down Maxwell".
