Problems logging on to D70users

Postby leigh999 on Tue Apr 26, 2005 9:55 pm

When I come to the site I enter my username and password - it thinks about it for a little while and then just when I think the 'logged in' screen is about to pop up the screen refreshes and I am back at the front page - not logged in. So I log in 'again' - this time it works but my 'view recent posts' is 0 which I know is wrong. This has happened 4 or 5 times over the weekend and today. Is it cookies or something??

Leigh,

Make sure you are linking in to d70Users.com (not .net, we are done with that)

If, after signing in, you are returned to the front page and do not look as though you are signed in, just refresh the page, don't sign in again.

cheers

GoDaddy have also been switching the underlying server in order to try to address the minor glitches that I've been seeing since we switched to the external hosting.

This morning I found that the .Net had been switched, but the .com was still coming from the old server, and I was seeing different pages from each. They were still referring to the same database, but the PoW references were different.

From this point forward, is anybody still seeing the email error? I need to know this ...
