There were a lot of them today... about 10 in total... it's like having a tour bus break down in a D70 town... *gets out the banjo*

*breaks the banjo*

I play a little banjo but I'm in Vancouver BC. I played guitar and banjo and lead vocals in a bluegrass band for a year. One of the funnest things you'll ever do.

I love this site, I wish we had one here in Vancouver. You have all of the cool get togethers over there in Sydney, and I just sit out here and watch and long for something similar.

dooda, there's a north american D70 faction I heard about over at Stevesforums.com, they're trying to organise meets and stuff as well.

Hi dooda,
I used to live in Tacoma near Seattle years ago, and worked at Boeing Field, I used to drive accross the border to Vancouver BC at some long week-end or vacation, seeing friends and have yum cha in China town, great and beautiful places to live.

Tacoma - I know a movie was shot there, 10 Things I Hate About You. It's a teen flick, based around that grand majestic high school/college that looks like a castle.

Yeah, you're right, it's beautiful. I used to go back there every year for a reunion of our flying class and seeing my survived buddies of my squadrons (VNAF = South Vietnam Airforce).
