FlashBracketSoftbox - Setup

Postby Oz_Beachside on Sat Mar 24, 2007 7:09 pm

This is how I put this thingo together;
Camera Flash Bracket - Manfrotto 233B
Softbox - 60cm bowens sofbox, with speedring (would work with any softbox/speedring so long as it had a threaded hole, 3/8" or 1/4")
TTL cord for flash to camera hotshoe - SC29
Mounting plate for flash inside softbox - Hama 6861
Flash - SB600

1. Screw the speedring, and Hama plate together using a spigot (I used 1/4").

2. Screw the SC29 onto the other end of the Hama plate.

3. Mount the Flash onto the hotshoe cord, and connect the softbox to the speed ring.

4. Turn the head of the flash back into the reflective part of softbox. This is a pic before the front difuser goes back on the softbox

5. Have fun with it!!!
