Seems I've come in a bit late with this one. My apologies. I should read the forums a little closer.

I'm a little weary of .doc files (potential for macro virii) could someone confirm this is an okay file?

Oh heck, my lappy's infected with browser hijacks and dodgy SP2 install anyways, I just might try it out myself... ;)

I'm somewhat late coming into this forum so if I dredge up old out-dated threads someone should let me know..

There is now a PDF available of that retouching tips file, it is linked to from the page linked above or is located at http://www.johnandjulia.com/retouchingtips.pdf

re: The Name.

The name never had a really well defined meaning, I know I was thinking about webpage development and design which is a passion of mine that has been relegated to 2nd place thanks to my cameras. Weaver being both making something from little threads and also associated with webs, and The Web. Platinum being a) Very pretty b) Very valuable c) Very cool..

So when I was registering a domain name I chose that.

Also, for this board, my name is Dean and I'm from Victoria and I didn't want to get step on Deano's toes in the name department.

There you go, mystery revealed!

Thanks! I'm fascinated by the linkages. It makes people complex.

You should have walked; it's exactly the same distance.

That's profound! In fact...could be less distance because I wouldn't have to divert for petrol.
