Hi Guys

Does anyone have a Photoshop 7 action for framing?

Matt K's Kookaburra picture using the frame is great, nice and simple. Does anyone have something similar?

Thanks

Kris,

Check out the Simple Borders v1.0 at:

http://www.jakerlund.net/index.php

This is what I use for the images in my gallery (click the link in my sig).

I use the 40 white+Black (I think, could be the 20?) and then the dropshadow. Three clicks and you have a border.

My frame is a very simple action that you can make and save. Here's how to make it. Open an image in Pshop. Go to ACTIONS and click NEW ACTION... give it a name, like "white border" or something. Go to IMAGE/IMAGE SIZE and change the units to "percentage". Change the sizes to 110% and click OK. I like a wider border on the bottom of my image so I went back to image size and clicked the little top square and added 1cm to the height of the image. Go back to ACTIONS and hit the stop button. Put your ACTION menu into button mode and you should see a button called white border. That's it! Anytime you want a border just hit the button.

You could make up other actions for different coloured borders if you wanted to.
Hope this is useful.

If you get a chance try it again just before dark... Sometimes a little colour in the sky can really make these images stand out more.
