Another use for the LS2

Was looking at a crude form of light tent on the web,
http://www.creativepro.com/story/feature/19002.html
And noticed at the bottom of the page what looked like a slightly larger Lightsphere 2.
So my thoughts are, place a white piece of paper on a desk top, then on top of that your item that is to be photographed, then place the lightsphere on top of your item (without the cap) then focus the camera directly above looking down on the item.
You would also need aditional light sources, like a lamp or an SB-800.
The diffusing properties of the LS2 should benefit the final picture.
I reckon it's worth a go for small items or whatever you can fit inside a LS2.
Will try it out tonight, if it works I'll post some pictures.
Any thoughts?
