They have software can tell you how many actuations on your new camera:

"If you go to http://www.opanda.com, there is a program that will read the exif data from images taken. Scroll to the bottom within the program and it will show number of actuations for that camera."

I also like the look of the digitalfilm 1.65 software they have. Very handy for emulating good film characteristics.

I'm sure i could emulate this by using a curve and colour enhancement in Nikon Capture though, but it's really good for beginners or those not bothered with lots of post processing.
