Re: Testing your broadband connection
Thanks Chris. Very enlightening. My MuddyPuddle cable connection registered a decent 1178 Kbps downstream but a shocking 65K Kbps upstream... only a shade faster than a 56K modem. I wonder if Optus' eagle is faster than Telstra's tortoise?
Another Site to test...Hi Guys,
You can also test your Internet speed on the following site: http://www.testmy.net/ Enjoy ChaPPy
Well... I tested it, but I'm not really any the wiser...
Is this good or bad? kbps: 8027.4 KB/s: 1003.425 Mbps: 7.8392578125 Cheers, John

Hey, the test works with dialup.
Thought I'd share my results here for all to laugh at... ![]() I've currently got the local politicians office talking with Telstra, trying to get ADSL to this area. SOOOOO frustrating - try viewing a few photos at this speed, and see what the time is already... Maybe download a few files... ![]() Share what you know, learn what you don't.
