Seeking D70 Firmware Update link

Postby timbo on Fri Jul 01, 2005 5:51 pm

Hello everybody: I'm back in the loop after mammoth 50-day adventure with very little internet access. I've missed the firmware update whish was supposed to be released early June and possible subsequent discussion about unavoidable WB encryption issue. Searching for it here so far with no success... (search for topic doesn't work for me: is this an OSX issue?) could somebody please point me to related topics?

Looking forward to posting some pics of Beijing and Barcelona soon as soon as I've processed some of the RAW files.

Regards,

Timbo

Thanks Glen. Before I go and do it, is it worth it?

WB TIm,

If you want to pop around, I have the updates installed on a couple of old (small) CF cards. Just pop 'em in and go!

Glad to hear the WB story is now history. When I left it was a hot topic and cause of some concern. And thanks Gary, but I've downloaded the update and am about to install it now. That reminds me: I still have those display guards for you...

Just returned from a "B-ing there" journey: Bavaria, Barcelona, Bath, Brighton, Beijing and beyond. The section of the Great Wall at Simatai was amazing and I'm just checking the shots now... hope to share highlights with you soon. The camera performed beautifully all the way and never let me down! Back at beautiful Bondi now and glad to be home.
