Well I brought my camera along to work (was sick of just shooting the moon, and stars when I got home).



And my first dodgey attempt at a stiching shot (sorry its both handheld and not straight



Maybe one leg is short then the other

Increase canvas size in PS at the top of the image - clone in more sky then straighten - it will work and look good

Arh, sorry to disappoint

I've actually got a lot on at the moment, (two serious internet issues, in both offices I manage) so I can't afford the processing time for another pano shot right now

We'll just settle for a muggacino in the interim.

Speaking of internet issues, Leigh and I were going to be doing a presentation last evening - of the technology that we used for the webcast of the AW dinner.

Leigh left home around 5pm; I arrived at the venue a little after 6, but wasn't able to connect to aany of our servers at home. In that short timeframe we'd sufferred a power outage at home, taking down both Linux boxes and frying the plugpack on one of the routers. I've dropped a spare router into place for the moment, but I've not yet - via the network - been able to talk to the router that was there at the time; Although the lights are on, we're not yet sure if anybody's at home, and it may well be going to join your sandwich wrapper.

The sadist in me, says grab a camera and set it on fire and see if you can get some interesting shots. (That's rather then throw it out). The collector in me says, I'd just put it in a draw with all the other bits of hardware that don't work, but I won't throw out

Oddly enough, at an Italian restaurant, but this time in Leichhardt.

It was a meeting of the Desktop Database Developers group, of whom I'm vice president. Yep, vice is certainly the best thing to be president of.

While this wasn't necessarily development oriented, from the support and training perspective, the technology that we used was of a great deal of interest to the assembled (not so) masses.

A $10 disposable from Woolies would do the job, wouldn't it?

In a few years they, too, will be collectible.

Oh, I see what you mean. Do you want to know how many of those we have at home? Some even have nicely trimmed low voltage cables ....
