Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. I especially like the one of the sunflower in the foreground,
nice work.
was it just raining or did you water the flowers first?

Thanks for the kind comment. My neighbor conveniently has an automatic sprinkler system that just happens to overspray on one of my flower beds. :D

Nice shots Kerry.

My pick (excuse the pun) is the second flower with the main subject sharp in the foreground and it's mate nicely OOF in the background. :D

Hi Kerry
as usual....very, very nice work. You really managed to get some great DOF in the 1st pic @ f10 ! Fantastic colouring as well. You sure know how to work that lens :)

Have any of your macro shots been published ? If not, I'm sure it won't be far away....

Keep on posting those terrific images....

These seem to be full of strong colour and terrific detail... Can't say which I prefer, like 'em both!

that does it kerry. im no longer looking at photos by you that are labelled 'macro' (or sliders for that matter). every time i do, it makes me want to go and buy a macro lens and i have enough new lenses to learn how to use properly as it is!!
Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Many thanks for the kind comments, guys. :D

Dave: No, I have not had any shots published. I haven't sent any shots to a publisher and wouldn't know how to even begin such a submission. :?

Rob: Take heart, a large part of the fun is in learning how to use all those lenses that you lust after. :P

I haven't either...though my shots aren't even in the same league as yours !

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get photos published, or has anyone had photos of theirs published ?

I'm sure it would be a great way to supplement any future purchases and would aid you, somewhat, in your "lens lust" :)
