Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Just as a tweak to an already good pic, try lowering the brightness a touch and upping the shadow slider a little. Might give a better balance to the foreground to background of the photo.
If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??
Oh what wonderful memories that pic brings back!! The enigmatic voice of Grace Slick with jefferson Airplane singing White Rabbit:
And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call To call Alice When she was just small When the men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low Go ask Alice I think she'll know When logic and proportion Have fallen slowly dead And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's off with her head Remember what the doormouse said: "Feed your Head Feed your Head!" _______________

Nice one SheetShooter... I'd forgotten about that, but I knew every word... now it has been dug out and loaded onto Windows Media Player for future enjoyment... Cheers, John
