same with John, shoot slower shutter speeds, a few pans shot. don't turn your camera into a point and shoot one.
photos that have poor compostion and half cut cars should be dumped, however this wouldn't apply to any crash shots you may have.

What sorts of settings do you use in-camera such as sharpening, contrast, saturation, colourmode etc? If I could get these sorts of results (colourwise and clarity) i would be over the moon, but I just cant seem to get em.
Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Hey M8, i use shutter speeds of 1/160 to 1/320 most of the time, i rarely go over this as to it freezes the action and makes them looks as if they are sitting still, not the look you want to show speed. However by doing this you leave yourself open to having some blurred shots hence the panning. These are great shots just could have been better in the way of some motion in the wheels and the only way to do it is low shutter speeds, i adjust mine from time to time depending on where i am on the track or if they are comming straight for me higer shutter speeds and it can be hard try chasing Go Karts and trying to get them to look like they are moving but give it a go next time mate.
Cheers
John
