Um, I'm not sure about the sky in this shot I'm sure someone else could explain it better but for me its too bright and not blue enough ? (does that make sense ?).
Other then that I like it.
........I am not sure what you are shooting, I know you said windmill but to me it could be......country scene, windmill, trees, or maybe a different crop.....yes the blue looks over saturated......

I would crop just to the right of the windmill, bring the saturation back a bit and possibly increase the contrast slightly.

Try a different angle or something.
If the Windmill is your main attraction to the pic, use the rule of thirds. The tank and windmill both have stories to tell just a mater of getting it from them. nice and green though where was it taken?? Looks as though someone is getting rain. MATT
My personal thoughts on this, is while you have some good subject (the windmill being so typically outback) matter here compositionally it's a bit off (I'm no master here and do exactly the same).
I'd, as Greg has already pointed out, like to see the windmill more to the right. Also I think this shot would be best taken (as are a lot of landscapes) early in the morning or at dusk. I'd really bring out the colors on the broken down water tank and the sky would be a nicer color, as I would like to see oranges, mauves and peaches in the sky with a few wispy clouds. I would place the windmill more to the right side of the image (it appears to be looking left to me ).
As others have said, the sky is a bit off. Nice looking country side though. Cheers Deb "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
Thanks everyone for all your comments - it's not till things are pointed out that you start to notice them!! I will try what you guys suggest and crop the windmill to the right - the sky is pretty much as it was though - it was about 2.00pm with sun at my back. This was taken in the wheatbelt in WA and yes plenty of rain lately.
......starting to look a lot better, as an image...... and for colour.....
