..... I am working.....some of the repairs....for those who are interested........ these are some of the repairs in one room.......the walls are, would you believe mud or dirt and horse hair over small bricks, and some areas have slats. To do the repair I have had to remove the dirt and find what caused the crack, and I have found a number of different things from loose bricks, loose timber, no slats, and just big holes behind a small layer of dirt, or just a pervious bad repair, which is dug out and done correct. Hope you find these interesting......

hope things are going well - if its any consolation we have recently moved into our place after 8 months hard work renovating it, there was blood, sweat and tears - that the thing with old buildings - they just dont seem to appreciate the work you out into them still it was so worth it in the end! Chris in the beginning was the word, and the word was Aardvark......
thanks Chris...... my son lives in London and brought this place over 2 years ago, the dogey repairs are now showing and I am trying my best to fix them......

.......as my dad will testify - though he's only 5 miles away! That said, looking at your other posts i think your son has at least had the courtesy to take you out and introduce you to Stella - take care - she's a lovely lady by night but can't half leave you feeling a touch off in the morning...... in the beginning was the word, and the word was Aardvark......
