First two days with the D70sHello everyone,
I'm going to post a few pics that I took on the first two days with my new D70s (I've got a loooooong story to tell but that'll have to wait for a later time). A few beginner pics below from the 1300 shots taken on the first two days ! (many were deleted). I was learning how to handle the camera (still am) and was testing various different settings. Most were taken with AUTO mode (JPG Fine). D70 really is full of features. It's been almost 3 weeks now and I'm improving. BTW I also purchased a Nikkor 70-300mm G along with the 18-70mm kit lens. Enjoy! 01 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/80 sec - Auto 02 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-G 70-300mm - Focal Length 70mm - F/9 - 1/200 sec - Aperture Priority 03 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 18mm - F/10 - 0.62 sec - Manual 04 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 18mm - F/10 - 1/3 sec - Manual 05 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/7.1 - 1/200 sec - Auto 06 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/14 - 20 sec - Manual 07 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/5.6 - 1/125 sec - Auto 08 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/9 - 1/320 sec - Auto 09 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/400 sec - Auto 10 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/500 sec with flash sync - Manual 11 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/125 sec - Auto 12 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-G 70-300mm - Focal Length 200mm - F/4.2 - 1/40 sec - Manual 13 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 18mm - F/10 - 1/40 sec - Aperture Priority 14 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 18mm - F/3.5 - 1/2 sec - Manual 15 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/320 sec with fill flash - Manual 16 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/200 sec with fill flash - Auto 17 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 18mm - F/4 - 1/300 sec - Auto 18 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/7.1 - 1/125 sec - Manual 19 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-G 70-300mm - Focal Length 300mm - F/7.1 - 1/250 sec - Manual 20 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/200 sec - Auto 21 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/8 sec - Auto 22 Bigger version here Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX - Focal Length 70mm - F/4.5 - 1/8 sec - Auto Regards, Kamran Nikon D200 | Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX | Sigma 15-30mm EX DG | Nikkor AF Micro 105mm 2.8 D | Nikkor AF 50mm 1.8D | Nikon Speedlight SB-800

Yep, some of the pictures are indeed from Dubai (#6 and #17). Rest are from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Well, these aren't exactly 'photographic shots'; just those pictures that turned out nice. Infact, I am a beginner who is eager to learn. I do take a lot of shots (done almost 7,000 already!) and that's the beauty of digital. I am learning as I am going along. The weather doesn't help much either. Daytime temperatures linger at around 45-50 Celcius. A mere 5 minutes outside .... and I run in panting and sweating. One literally melts in such heat! Even nights are quite hot (35-40). I'm waiting for winter which brings in some very nice skies / clouds with it. Thanks everyone. Glad to be a part of this forum.
