Bath time

I've been meaning to capture his enjoyment of splashing in the bath for a while now and finally got around to it. Water goes everywhere, on the walls, floor and all over me. I've taken to standing in the doorway and just letting him go nuts.

As for the image, I think that it is missing something, maybe a bit more colour somehow.

It's a cute image, gave me a smile. :) As for missing something, seems a tad flat, like it needs more light.

Off topic, I see you have an 8mm listed in your sig. Do you like it, use it much? I'm considering the Sigma 8mm fisheye, so would value your thoughts.

I don't use the 8mm much, but I do use it. As to be expected, being 8mm it can be pretty soft on occasions but it produces usable images. I have cropped this image a bit to get rid of some of the black.

Great shot Petal, really captures the moment.

I wonder whether a tad more saturation might give the shot a bit more bite? Whatever, it is a keeper.

Thanks for the feedback. :) That's a cool shot and gives me a good idea of what to expect. I doubt that the .01 crop factor difference would be noticeable.

Is that a Canon, Sigma or other 8mm lens, like the Peleng?

I don't think Canon make an 8mm so I bought the Sigma. I doubt the Peleng one would be much chop as they are rather cheap (having never seen one that is my only guide). Having said that, maybe the Peleng would be a better option as it isn't a lens that gets used much. It is handy for 360°x360° panos.
