Colour as the subjectHi Guys,
I would appreciate your comments and critique on these shots of standard sunday fair. Cheers Matt
Hi Matt
looks like it was a nice day for some photos I like the bold colours you have captured & my favourite would be the 2nd shot. I really like the different composition of the ferris wheel. If I was to change anything, it would possibly be to use a bit more DOF, so only one or two of the carriages were in focus (but that's just my personal taste). The last 2 don't do much for me, but again, the colours look great ! I assume you used a CPL for these shots ?? Well done. Dave

Cool shots, Matt. I agree with Dave, the Ferris wheel, especially the 2nd shot, is very good.

I like #1 - but I think what you've achieved in #3 is way cooool. It looks like a frame out of some hollywood animated + live action pic! Peter

Matt,
I like the first two a great deal. Did you use any filter for these? What lens? The last one, I'd crop so that the whole person's body would fit in, but I may be wrong on this one - need to see both versions. Alex
LOL love it. Sorry about that Daryl. I'd very much like to see your shots. I used a CPL for all of the shots and all were taken with the kit lens. Many thanks for the comments guys - it was such a lovely day for a walk. Matt
Nice colours Matt that ferris wheel looks cool and yeh #3 is great as well, all good pics and yeh nice clear sunny day makes the colours stand out as well. love them.

Matt if you are going to shot in colour why not have colour. Love them. I believe it is quite hard to get a good Ferris wheel shot, but you have done well.
